Ryo is an award-winning editor currently based in Tokyo, Japan where he works with the Product Creative Studio team at Netflix.

Over the past 17 years, he has had the privilege to collaborate with and craft stories for some of the most recognizable brands, agencies and studios including Nike, Apple, Amazon, Showtime, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures and HBO.

Always inspired to search for the heart in every story, Ryo has edited everything from trailers, commercials, promos, web series, social media pieces, stop motion videos and short films. He has extensive experience with graphics and has also directed several pieces for Nike in Mexico City, San Francisco and New York.

When not deciding between sitting or standing at his desk, he is hanging out with his wife and two sons. Because home is where the heart is.
